Sony Ericsson W760i


  



The Sony Ericsson W760i is the latest music focussed handset from the range and incorporates some new technology aswell as upgraded Walkman software and features.

The Sony W760i has been initially released in the UK on O2 contract tariffs, consumers are able to sign up to a 12 month or 18 month contract agreement and receive a W760i Walkman phone free of charge.

It is a Walkman Phone with GPRS support, the Sony Ericsson W760 is HSDPA enabled, offering 3G Services, USB connectivity, EDGE Technology and Bluetooth Wireless with A2DP Stereo Support. Messaging solutions include email and the browser comes with RSS Reader, the internal memory is 40MB with a 1GB memory stick included in the package for optional expansion and a phonebook capable of storing contact details for 1000 entries.

Mutlimedia features include a 3.2 mega pixel camera with video capture & playback features, an MP3 Player which will support AAC audio file formats and a built-in FM Radio with RDS.The camera is complimented with Picture Editing software and an image viewer and the Music Player with built-in Stereo Speakers.

With enough space to store up to 950 of music tracks on the phone and a whole lot more on removeable MicroSD memory cards, bonus features such as TrackID recognition, Shake Control, Sensme and TrackID charts, the Sony Ericsson W760i will no doubt keep users more than just entertained.

Although initially launched on O2 in the UK, the Sony W760i will be picked up by further networks in the coming weeks, this is not a network exclusive mobile phone. The first edition to be released is the Intense Black model, the red edition is to be a network exclusive with Vodafone once UK stocks arrive.
